The popular LiveNoise system of networked noise monitors has been updated to produce the LiveNoise 2 cloud based system. This new version provides all live data feeds and long term reporting through your web browser, making installation much easier as there is no software to install.
A system can consist of one or more noise monitors, mounted indoor or outdoor (LN2-SE version). These connect over your existing network to our cloud server. To view the live sound levels or reports you use your web browser to log in to your LiveNoise account.
There are four versions of the LiveNoise terminal, one that is suitable for indoor or outdoor installation and others that are just for indoor use.
This new version also adds extra weightings and more measurements. In particular it now includes "C" weighting on top of the usual "A" weighting as well as "Fast" and "Slow" sound level.
The LN2-SE is a networked noise monitoring terminal that is suitable for indoor or outdoor installation. It is protected against poor weather conditions for outdoor installation and protected against dust ingress for indoor use.
Mounted on a wall or other suitable surface, the noise monitor measures and stores the sound level parameters in with various frequency and time weightings in order to meet common noise measurement requirements and regulations.
The real-time levels and long-term statistical parameters are sent to our cloud server. You log in to your LiveNoise account to view the current sound levels and long term noise reports.
This noise monitor is ideal for noise monitoring on construction sites, boundary noise, factories and inside or outside entertainment venues.
There are four different versions of the LiveNoise 2 noise monitor. The most popular is the LN2-SE (see above), which is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. Although a little over-protected for indoor use, it is perfect for use in dusty environments or where it could get accidentally damaged.
The other versions of noise monitor are for indoor use. Some have a noise warning sign attached that can give people an instant warning that the sound levels are too high. Another version includes a low-cost microphone for those applications where you need a warning that the sound levels are high but are not concerned about the precise level itself.
All versions of the LiveNoise 2 noise monitors operate in the same way, sending sound level measurements to our cloud server for reporting. You can mix all noise monitors from the range together into the same system.
